Disc feeder
Ⅰ. Overview
Disk feeder is a kind of volumetric metering feeding equipment, widely used for feeding various non-viscous materials in industries such as metallurgy, mining, building materials, coal, and power.
Ⅱ. Institutional characteristics
The PB type disc feeder is a lifting and enclosed type. It is mainly used for systems that require reducing air leakage or dust, in order to minimize environmental pollution. The main body of its structure is a disk that rotates around a vertical axis. In the middle of the disc, there is a feeding sleeve located at the lower opening of the receiving bin and with an adjustable height. Materials leak out from the gap between the feeding sleeve and the disc, and are scraped off the disc by a scraper. The feeding amount can be adjusted by changing the gap size and discharge position between the feeding sleeve and the disc. There is an observation window for observing the feeding of materials and the operation of equipment at any time.
