I. General Introduction
Vertical mill is a type of roller mill, which can be equipped with 2, 3 or 4 rollers according to requirements. Each roller is composed of a fixed rocker arm, a bracket for mounting the rocker arm, and a hydraulic system to form a power unit for grinding. This power unit is an integral type or a standard component, which can be arranged in two, three or four components around the grinding disc.
2. Working Principle
The raw materials enter the feed pipe through the automatic feeding device, and the feed pipe enters the mill through the side or middle of the separator. The materials fall to the center of the grinding disc with the help of gravity and the impact of the airflow. The grinding disc is firmly connected to the reducer and rotates at a constant speed. The constant speed rotation of the grinding disc evenly distributes the ground materials horizontally on the lining of the grinding disc. The strong pressure of the hydraulic system is transmitted to the grinding roller through the rocker arm, and the automatic control system ensures that the grinding roller can maintain a constant pressure. The oblique cone grinding roller structure can bite the material, crush the material in the process of relative movement with the grinding disc, and code the material into powder under the combined action of rolling and friction. Under the action of centrifugal force, the ground powder is thrown out to the edge of the grinding disc, mixed with the high-speed hot air flow entering the mill and fully exchanged with heat, the water is quickly evaporated, and the water content of the powder rising with the hot air flow is no more than 1%. The materials that continue to enter the middle of the mill also continue to move to the rolling track area of the grinding roller under the action of centrifugal force to fill the space of the thrown materials, forming a sequential flow of materials. The powder driven up by the high-speed airflow enters the separator for sorting. The qualified powder is sent to the dust collector for storage. The unqualified powder is thrown out by the rotor blades of the separator and collides with the external static blades, causing its kinetic energy to decay and fall back into the grinding disc for re-grinding, forming a dynamic cycle operation of the grinding process.
